When I make a new squidoo lens, I focus on strong keywords. Take for instance this Easy Cherry Pie Recipe. I went after a very popular and highly searched for keyphrase with “cherry pie recipe”, but I wasn’t worried about all the competition for that search term. Why? Because I know I can build my lens better than anyone else on Squidoo, and better than all of the recipe websites on the internet.
As you can see on my easy cherry pie recipe squidoo lens, it is loaded down with my keyphrase. I take my main keyphrase and run with it, loading up several modules and adding my keyphrase to the titles of those modules. Where does that get me? Well how about a listing on the first page of Google.com for Easy Cherry Pie Recipe!!
